I am always on the look out for high quality conferences, workshops, courses, products and services in keeping with the interests of my community with the intent to help publicize them - so that not only are my community members aware of the 'products' but also others who are interested in similar themes.
If you are an event organizer you can post details of your events on my website for free. But for many events it often makes sense to enter into a joint marketing agreement where I promote the event more proactively in return for some form of quid pro quo that either benefits me and helps support the community or benefits the community directly.
The Gurteen Knowledge website is a resource site for the community dedicated to knowledge, creativity, innovation, learning, personal development and the innovative use of internet technology. The website receives over 1,000 unique visitors per day and over 100,000 hits per month.
There is also an extensive event calendar on the site and members of the community can subscribe to 'email alerts to keep them informed of new events in their regions. You may also post events on my site regardless of whether we have a media partnership or not.
Members also receive the Gurteen Knowledge Letter each month. This newsletter also contains information about major world events.
I can provide most things you would expect in a marketing partnership:
- add a banner ad to my website
- add a specific page about your event or product to my website as a sponsored link
- include a link in my monthly newsletter (I can only do this for major KM events)
- include a specific ad or mention in my monthly newsletter (I can only do this for major KM events)
- include your event in my Events RSS feed
- include your event in my Email Alerts
- raffle a copy of your product or free place at your event via my site
- note: I do not do bespoke e-mail ads to my members except in very special circumstances such as where I am running a pre or post conference workshop; nor do I make my e-mail list available to anyone including third-parties. I also do not have the address details of my members and even if I did, I would never make them available.
- a logo on your site that links to my site - probably on your media partner page
- a logo and profile in your event brochure
- a sheet in your delegate pack describing my community
- a discount for members of my community
- a small fee paid to me for each delegate who signs up from my community
- one or more free places for me or a member of my community at your event
- the opportunity to talk or run a workshop or knowledge cafe at your event
I am well known for the Knowledge Cafes that I run and they always attract a great deal of interest. So another promotional possibility is to either run one of my regional knowledge cafes in partnership with you or to run one as an integral part of your event. This could potentially attract a large number of my members to attend both the knowledge cafe and your event.
I am an avid networker. I naturally love to help people to 'make their knowledge productive'. If you think I could help, I am more then happy to take the occasional phone call or e-mail or meet for lunch though clearly I charge for more substantial consulting, coaching or other support.
If you would like to talk or learn more about any of my services then please contact me. |
