This text proposes that Jesus's teaching was not about belief in God, nor was it intended to establish a new religion. It was an attempt to awaken us simultaneously to the mystery of human life, our innate relationship with the Spirit, and our potential for personal spiritual growth and experience. <p>
Taking the reader on a journey into the symbolic language of religious myth and allegory, this text examines the gospel narratives as timeless teaching stories in which the characters and events they portray provide us with insights into the unfolding process of our own human and spritual evolution. These insights offer a personal psychology that opens the way to true self-knowledge and the experience of what it means to become fully human.
