The Know-Center is Austria’s Competence Center for knowledge-based Applications and Systems. The Know-Center has its core competences in the fields of information technology as enabling technologies for knowledge management and in human-oriented knowledge management.
As a connecting link between science and industry the Know-Center carries out problem-driven, result-oriented and application-oriented projects in these competence areas. The close cooperation with scientific institutions, such as Graz University of Technology and JOANNEUM RESEARCH ensures the access to latest research results. Together with its partner companies, the Know-Center transfers these scientific results in innovation for Styria in particular and Austria in general.
