What's Popular on the Gurteen Knowledge Website

For each page on this site, I record the date on which it was originally published and count the individual 'hits' when someone visits the page. This means I can calculate the 'hits per day' for each page and thus determine the most popular pages on the site.

This page thus lists the most popular pages on this site and is constructed dynamically each time it is displayed so you are always see an up to date snapshot of the most popular pages.

It includes 'older' pages that are very popular and 'younger' pages that have more recently been published but have only had a small number of hits. These younger pages unless they prove to be popular quickly disappear from the list.

Note: You can take a look at the statistics for each page by clicking the information icon at the top right hand of each page. This not only shows the date on which the page was first published and the number of hits but a range of other meta data that I use for 'managing' the page.

The Gurteen Knowledge Search Engine is a customised Google search engine that searches over 800 KM related websites and weblogs.
