Theme Mobile Working - Friend or Foe?
We are now in an age where how we live, work and communicate is being designed around our desire for freedom:
to work where we want instead of where we have to - Work is what I do, not where I go.
to use the device we prefer - 60% of users have more than 3 devices
to access information immediately - internet access everywhere
to share and connect - social networking
However, these aspirations can very easily turn into 'golden shackles' chaining us, if not to a desk, then to a notion that we have to be connected every waking moment of the day.
Question: What can we do as individuals and teams to manage our interactions to communicate effectively and to avoid being overwhelmed?
Speaker: Andrew Driver, Senior Technical Strategist, Core
Andrew has worked in and around the IT industry since 1995.
He was an IT trainer for over 10 years and has also been a coach, presenter and Microsoft technology spokesman.
He prides himself on being able to make complex topics accessible and has an allergy to PowerPoint decks of more than 5 slides.
