Designing knowledge spaces has many ingredients in common with architecture, with industrial design and with art. It is much harder to appreciate, however, because the results are not tangible in a physical sense. Appreciation comes more from a sense of familiarity, comfort and the thrill of new ideas and possibilities.
Just as a hammer fits your hand, a favorite chair fits your body – a well-designed knowledge space should fit your mind.
