Earlier this evening I gave a talk ay the Coffeemachine network at the City University Business School in the Barbican in central London. It was the third or fourth time that I had given a very similar talk on the subject of "Creative Conversation" - about the role of conversation in our business lives.

I am not a natural born speaker and so work hard in my preparation of such events and I was happy with this one. I felt relaxed and managed to facilitate what I felt a good degree of audience participation. What was good was that a number of people questioned some of my view and statements so it made for a lively debate. I must admit unlike many speakers I see - I like such feedback - it helps me learn.

As ever the best conversation and learning took place in the pub afterwards. A good evening!
