Many of us have been engaged in change projects in law firms for a few years now and we will all know of projects which have made a difference and continue to do so once the label of "project" has been removed and it is business as usual. We will know of others, started for all the right reasons and showing signs of promise through the life of the project, but where people have slipped back into old habits once the spotlight has been removed.
In this inter active session we will discuss some theory (not too much!) and attempt to tease out some practical tips for really making the new ways of working stick.
Video: Steve Job's Commencement speech at Stanford University
Drawing from some of the most pivotal points in his life, Steve Jobs, chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, urged graduates to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities in life's setbacks -- including death itself -- at the university's 114th Commencement on June 12, 2005.
David Gurteen's comments: This is one hell of an inspirational speech from Steve Jobs!
